I know 2013 is the Chinese year of the Snake but if you ask me it’s been my year of the Pig. I’ve certainly eaten like one in Singapore. And that’s only in the last 4 days!!

Or could it be of the Crab? I had the utmost pleasure of eating my first authentic Singapore Chilli Crab at Long Beach.



We also got stuck into some Rendang on Orchard Road. What is it with hearty beefy melt-in-my-mouth goodnessy that makes me go oom nom nom nom? Is it the smell..the taste… Or the food coma that follows? Whatever it is I don’t want it to end. Ever! Bring me some ice kachang before I go.


And now that I’m over the shock of being automatically flushed off the toilet in Singapore let’s head to India. See you there. I’ll be the one wobbling my head. Dee x
